An event hosted at the Mad River Barn can incorporate any combination of private dining or meeting spaces, lodging, catering, organized off site adventures and more. Below you will find a general description of our three event spaces, lodging information and catering menus. Any event booked at the Mad River Barn will include planning assistance from one of our experienced staff members to make every detail fit the individual needs of your group whether you are looking for a quiet meeting space with coffee & pastries or a late night party with an open bar.

Pub & Game Room

Available Monday-Thursday, May through October
Minimum Guest Count: 20 guests | Maximum Capacity: 100 guests

Facility Fee: $1000

The upstairs Pub & Game Room holds up to 100 people with a variety of table styles and bar seating as well as a deck weather permitting. The space can be easily converted into a formal or informal meeting or dining atmosphere with AV, two televisions and a surround sound system. For the less formal crowd, gather around the shuffleboard table or get into a game of foosball.

Dining Room

Available Monday-Thursday | Year Round, with the exception of Holidays
Minimum Guest Count: 20 guests | Maximum Capacity: 84 guests

Facility Fee: $500

The downstairs dining room seats 84 guests indoors with an attached outdoor patio that is perfect for cocktail hour. From white linens and wine to burlap and beer the Dining Room is an elegant space to host a more formal plated or buffet affaire.

Tables can be arraigned into a horseshoe format with access to a projector and audio for use as an additional meeting or breakout space.

Events Pavilion

Available Monday-Thursday | May through October
Minimum Guest Count: 60 guests | Maximum Capacity: 199 guests

Facility Fee: $2500 – $5000 (depending on guest count)

Located on the hill behind the Main Barn, our Events Pavilion holds up to 199 guests. Easily divided into multiple breakout spaces or used as a large open-air facility the pavilion provides a stunning location for meetings or meals.

AV Equipment is available for use within the space, which boasts a state-of-the-art sound system.

Unique Lodging & Community

Tucked in the heart of the Green Mountains, the Mad River Barn offers a boutique lodging experience with 18 guest rooms on property as well as three event spaces. The Barn is situated only minutes away from countless outdoor adventures in any season.

Adventurous athletes can head out for a hike, bike or paddle. Those who prefer to relax can indulge in local brewery tours or hang out by the river. Explore local dining or let us pack everything you’ll need for wherever you may end up.

Guided experiences are available through both Barn staff members and local businesses. Rental equipment can be arranged for any outdoor activity.

A full inn buyout consists of all 18 guest rooms, closing these rooms to the general public. Your party would be financially responsible for all rooms for the duration of your event.

A partial buyout is available for the Main Barn, Longhouse, Annex or any combination thereof.
